Record the external package dimensions and every constrained opening from the vehicle to the destination room. The smallest two package dimensions can screen a doorway, but they do not prove that the package can turn into position.

What this calculator checks

The tool sorts the three furniture dimensions and uses the smallest two as the preferred transport cross-section. It adds the handling allowance and compares both orientations with the clear doorway.

Why a pass is not a guarantee

The item must reach the doorway and rotate into alignment. A tight corridor, wall return, low beam, or rigid package can block a cross-section that looks acceptable. Check lifts, stairs, landings, and every other opening.

Use transport dimensions

Ask for the number of packages, external dimensions, removable parts, and weight. Packaging may enlarge the item; removing approved legs or backs may reduce it.
